Working from home, bay-bee!

I should have done an update after being so blue about returning to the office. And no, I didn't exceed the 25 minutes talking to people. TBS said that people in the role I happen to be in don't actually need to go in. My boss put in the work over months to get all all exempt and it had to go all the way up the the DM for approval, and we got it! Woo-hoo. I am so much happier to be working from home it's hard to describe it.

I do miss seeing my co-workers and going to lunch with them though. The lack of that part is rough. However the weather is nicer which means hopefully there will be more chances for a patio lunch.

New Seiko 5 Sports watch

My pebble is dying. The slightest bit of sunlight and the screen goes all funny and unreadable. Maybe I was influenced by watching the first season of The Last of Us, maybe I just liked it, but I got a Seiko 5 Sports watch, blue, that charges just by me moving my arm around.

I really like it so far. It's much heavier than my pebble which I am getting used to. I keep on shaking my wrist to "light up" the watch face... which doesn't work.

I might have been shopping for a while. I like the fact that it's got a both the day of the week and the day of the month. It's very pretty. It glows slightly in the dark (to be tested another time). The hands are just Arabic numerals which I like. It's supposed to be water resistant to 100m which would allow me to swim with it.
