I've been working for my current employer for 2 years now (today). Weird how fast the time goes. That also means that I have been out of school for more than 2 years... and as Martha would say, "that's a good thing". ;-)
If it wasn't for the whole money thing, i'd probably go to school for my entire life. We used to get at least a week off, sometimes two or three weeks, in between semesters. I used to count it as a month, because exams were mostly time off for me. No more than 3 hours of studying for any exam. And every 4 months, we'd start something new and interesting. You got to take some creative freedom with your assignments. Your schedule wasn't quite so repetitive, only repeating every week, instead of every day. I wonder if anyone else misses school as much as I do.
I don't know, Karen's school sounds better than Ottawa U. In University I had to do "creative" lab work with Kibbee, which was probably worse than having a colonoscopy. :) Kidding.

ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteNah ... but I do get to go to school for the rest of my life :P And it's super-fun ... the kids keep it interesting; no day is like another.

I miss school for sure! I'd like to go back.
ReplyDeleteI miss school for sure! I'd like to go back ... but I wouldn't take Engineering or science. Maybe history and/or business and/or polysci.
