A co-worker sent this article to me and I thought that it was so funny... that's why I think that it's good to have developers who have some testing experience (in a QA group). They'll have a "better" mentality. One of "how can we break this" rather than "how can we make this work".
Oie.
How can we break this is a very good way to look at things. Especially in security. Using Cookies or Javascript to enforce your security is pretty weak security. That's the bad thing about web applications. Although they are easy to implement, there's a lot of security considerations to be taken.
ReplyDeleteI am looking for the email address of the co-engineer Peter Bernier. Do you have that? I worked with him in Europe many years ago and was wondering how he is doing.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes from Holland,
ARTHUR KOOYMAN
Oh yeah, Peter Bernier. I've heard that he branched out into assasination quality assurance, or it was some cherity organization for abusing under-abused animals. Not 100% sure, but very nice guy.
ReplyDeleteArthur: I don't think that this is the Peter you're looking for. The one that reads (sometimes) this site graduated only a couple of years ago... I doubt that he worked in Europe as an Engineer many years ago.
ReplyDeleteAleks: You dumbass... ;-P
Yes Arthur, I've never been to or worked in Europe. Good luck!
