Entertaining to non-computer people

It has been brought to my attention that this blog (apparently) has too much computer related stuff in it. Yes, I spend (at least) 1/2 of my waking time working and thinking about computer related stuff. So I blog about it. I find that logical. Sorry if it's not entertaining... I guess sometimes I am boring.

So, without further ado, here's some pictures of puppies. Yay!

  1. Well, Your blog doesn't have to be interesting to everybody. I learned long ago with my first tripod website, that often what your interested in isn't what everyone on the internet wants to be reading about. My friend choose to write about WWF (now WWE) and got tons of visitors to his site. I can't even remember what I wrote about, but I got significantly less hits.
Now, Val doesn't read my blog, because I mostly write about tech stuff. I don't really care. I don't keep track of how many people read my site. I write for my own enjoyment, not the enjoyment of others.

  2. ...plus it's better to blog about stuff you're an "authority" on. Blogging can be used to establish de-facto authority on a subject. Many Rails developers do this.
    Thinking logically is too computer-related!
