Well, it's been almost a month since we've moved out, and we are getting our bed exchanged tonight. I just can't sleep on a firm bed. Needless so say, I'm really looking forward to getting a softer bed and hopefully being able to sleep.
It's really interesting how large an affect having / not having a good night's sleep can have on your whole day. Maybe now I won't need my morning coffee. Probably not though.

Definitely ... sleep and/or caffeine is critical. ;)
ReplyDeleteFor me -- and this is going to sound a bit strange -- a good shower in the morning is critical. If my morning shower is crap, it can just get me off to the wrong start. And the key to a good shower is WATER PRESSURE.
I could get into a big rant about it here, but if the whole idea of a water-saving shower head is to save water, then what's the point if it takes me so much longer to rinse the soap off and out of my hair, etc with that much less water pressure? I'm probably using MORE water overall...
With good water pressure I can be out in less than 5 minutes! ... silly environmentalists
Anyway, the side effect of that is that while I'm looking for apartments I always check the shower water pressure. People must think I'm nuts! Oh wait...
They probably put the low volume water heads in because of people like me who have long showers and have been known to fall asleep in the shower. And perhaps also take 3 showers a day from time to time (I average 2 / day)
ReplyDeleteBut I agree that a bad shower can wreck your day.
I'd rather have 3 short high pressure showers than 2 long low pressure ones. :)
