Hot, hot, hot.

I think that today was much too hot to run. I did it anyways. It felt great. Betty and I were running with a guy who has to keep his heart rate under 150 bpm for health reasons, so today was nice and slow. Sometimes it can be frustrating to run at the slower pace, but other times good. They guy seems to be fairly high up in his position, and has some great stories.

One thing that I have to do when I get home (other than help my dad roll up tents) is to make sure that my MS computers are all up to date. I don't want the lastest worm to be on any of those computers. Well, duh. That is why I have left the automatic update feature turned on on my XP box. I'd actually rather it download stuff in the background than me have to explictly say "okay". I was all against it at first, but I have come around. *sigh* I am becoming a MS whore. Ah well. My *nix skills are not up to where they need to be right now. That is one thing that I should get done soon, my linux box up and running. I feel like an outcast here sometimes 'cause I don't have a box that I can ssh into. Mind you, my dad probably wouldn't let me leave it on connected to the net all the time. For me to have that then, I will have to wait till I am out of the house. I am hoping that will happen within the next year.
