Almost done...

I feel the end drawing near... school is almost done, the labs are closing out, and all we have left seem to be the big projects which are probably going to bite us in the ass. And for some strange reason, I feel like I was productive today because I got one assignment done. I haven't met other deadlines that I set out for myself... for some reason I just couldn't get the modivation up. I need days off once and and a while, and during school I never feel that I really have one off. At least this semister isn't so bad with only 5 courses... it's nice to go out gracefully, rather than with a bang.

The LotR - The Fellowship of the Ring is great. I was watching the extended version again after I watched The Secret of NYMH, which is another great movie. My sister didn't like it as much as Finding Nemo. Blah! I guess the kids of today don't appreachiate classics... Maybe one day she'll like it... some things you need time to really get, like Shakespeare or cottage cheese. (hahaha...)

  2. Val doesn't like it? I thought that everyone loved that movie... even my mom likes it. (btw, the dvd was only like 11 $, but it doesn't really have any extras, and no widescreen)

  3. I used to adore the Secret of Nymh, and I really liked the book too (Mrs. Brisby and the Rats of Nymh) but that was ages ago, so who knows.. and I didn't know everyone knows it! (also, wasn't it kinda scary once upon a time??!)
Europe (according to radio, so believe what you want) is very excited about Finding Nemo... mostly becasue Robbie Williams gets to sing a bit... these people are crazy!

  4. Just some interesting trivia... It's actually N.I.M.H., and it stands for "National Institute of Mental Health", the name of the lab where the rats got their nifty talents. I found it on Amazon, so it must be true... ha ha ha.

  5. Yes, that is correct... I was just too lazy to look it up when I wrote about it at first... and I like to use different spellings. ;-)
As an update, my sister wanted to watch it the next day and made a big fuss about it... I don't get her.
