Sometimes I just wonder

There are terms that are used all the time that may not be politically correct anymore. Including some that are used for computer hardware, but does that mean we should ban / change them? Maybe, but to me that is along the same lines as getting rid of knowledge. Do we want to forget what people are capable of doing to each other because it is offensive? Perhaps I am just not in the group of people that would (or should?) be offended, so I just just shut up. Shutting up now.

On a totally different note, if anyone finds a way to spell check text boxes in a browser, please let me know. I'm just too lazy to look right now. I guess I should start putting in the same amount of effort into blogging as I do as emailing. Ah well. :-|

  1. Funny you mention that Jim, the Mozilla project is working spell checking in text boxes right now:

CC yourself on the bugs to find out when it's done. :) (probably in the 1.6 version)

  2. Sweet! I am seriously relient on a spell checker, and I think that all this posting with bad spelling is ticking people off. I don't think that I even have to sign stuff: people can tell it's me from the spelling. :-|
