Writters block

Ever have a case of writters block? I get it a lot... especially when I have long assignments to do. I don't know what it is, I just can't seem to get my mind around them, no matter how much I want to. What does this mean? Usually that I hide from IM while I try and get my thoughts down, but more importantly that my group members get mad at me. Or maybe just annoyed, I'm not sure.

And it's stupid too because I was the one pushing to get it done early... *sigh* I blame it on me being lazy and having no modivation right now. And it's not really like I am doing anything productive either, which really doesn't help too much. Maybe if I just sleep for a week, it'll all go away. Maybe not. Almost there though... this is the home stretch.

  1. Assignments? Aren't we in final exam season?

  2. It's management. Blame it on that.
I mean really. Which is more interesting/productive? Working on a long-ass, boring, next-to-pointless assignment (ie management) or studying for a final where you might actually learn something (ie security)?

  3. I find it helps just to brainstorm for a bit and write down some point form notes. Turn those into an outline. Then turn the outline into the final product, instead of thinking up prose right off the bat.

  5. I'm still waiting for them to make it so that I can spell check text areas...
And Peter, I WISH that I had not been doing the assignment because of studying for finals... I have not really done either. *sigh*

  9. Sort, but not really... I think that I tracked you down to "JP" by googling your name and found it on some realestate site...
It doesn't matter so much as long as there is *some* name beside the post to give me at least some identity to go with the words, even if I can't figure out who it is.
