Big Day

Tomorrow is the big day. Yes, it's Canada Day, but it's also my first event. I'm a little nervous... but it's not a distance I have not done before. I think that I'm just nervous because it's different from what I have done in the past. I'll just try not to stress about it.

But speaking of Canada Day, does anyone have big plans? So far mine include wandering around downtown, watching the fireworks, and then going home to get enough sleep to go into work the next day. :-P

  2. hee hee... thanks. ;-)
Any time you want to go running again, just let me know and we can go. I (almost) always go at lunch. And we'll go at whatever pace... we don't want to kill people! We want to get them to run with us. ;-D

  3. I unicycled in the Canada Day parade. In the morning it was raining, so there was a chance that it would be cancelled. At first, i was kind of hoping that it would be cancelled, because the practice from the previous nite didn't go very well and i didn't want to look like an ass and bring down the team (of 12 unicyclers). I was worried that i wasn't good enough to perform on demand. Soon, i changed my mind and was hoping that the rain would stop and that i'd be able to look like an ass in front of the city and beyond. Fortunately, the rain did stop.
The parade went really well, and the kids loved it, which is what matters most. I'm glad that i did it. Getting paid to unicycle is pretty sweet too - worth a laugh anyway.
Some of it was on TV too, so let me know if anyone saw me.
