NL or NF (or NFL? hahaha...)

One thing that I have come across today is the fact the the ISO code for Newfoundland and Labrador has changed from NF to the more politically correct NL. Why iso codes have to be politically correct is dumb to me, but must be important to someone else. This problem has bitten me today and I'm still stinging... *sigh* Who knew ISO codes changed much?

  1. It's interesting to me that they would be able to change ISO codes. You'd think that once it's standard, it's standard, and changing it would put everything out of whack. It's like changing the IP Protocol because they think it's more correct for the destination to come before the source address, since a router only needs to wait for the destination address to come in to decide where it will send the packet.
