Passwords for chocolate

Some specific people came to mind when I read a slashdot story about how people would give up their passwords for chocolate. It just goes to show what most people know: that we have to know too many passwords and we need a better way because people don't use strong enough passwords. This isn't really a technology issue, but a social one. I am sure that it will be easier to come up with a tech solution to this, but that is by no means easy.

  1. I believe I know what you are implying, and I would just like to say... I resemble that comment!

  3. *HUG* Ya, I know what you mean.
As for the chocolate, Alek told me that at Loblaws they have it really cheap: like Kinder Surprises that are normally 10 $ are on for 2 $. And the women at work are stocking up too... I see more chocolate at my meetings than I did at Easter... I'm going to get so fat.

  4. I got half off Lindt chocolate eggs at the Bay in Bayshore ... yum.
Now What kind of chocolate were they offering? If it was just run-of-the mill cheap chocolate ... no way ... but if it was super-yummy lindt or Godiva chocolate I may have trouble controlling myself ...
Oh, and I am now officially a Habs/Flames fan (need one team for east and west ... sniff)

  6. I'd like it to come down to the Habs and Flames for the final, at which point I will go fully Habs just to have some competition between me and my western friends :)

  7. I've now gotten to the point with all the passwords I need, with the multitude of job search websites and all the other crap i need passwords for, that I'm now keeping them in a password keeping program on my palm pilot. It works pretty well, use one password to access all you passwords. The one i'm using is good, and secure, and i'm pretty sure I won't forget it. This is the best solution I can think of right now.
