Grad tickets

I got my grad tickets today at lunch. It's actually assigned seats (since it's at the NAC), so it's a good idea to get them sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know if there is any kind of "event" afterwords? Are people getting together for drinks or anything? It's kind of bad, but I don't even know if people are coming in from out of town... *sigh* I'm so bad about witting people.

    I picked mine up too, right after lunch ... must have just missed you!
    The guy ahead of me was like, "Oh, I only want two tickets ..." I was so close to tapping him and asking if I could have his third ...
    But I asked the lady there are she said that for those who wait in line at the NAC 30 min beforehand ... they've never turned anyone away. Too bad that whoever does that will be sitting far away from the rest of our guests :(
    As for afterwards, I've got stuff planned for the evening; it's a special night at my church youth group which I don't want to miss ... If you guys so end up planning something, maybe I could tag along for a quick dinner .. I dunno ... too much planning!

    My family is in town for the weekend. So I think i'm booked solid spending my time with family. I imagine many others are in the same boat. Well, except those whose family are usually in Ottawa.

    Yep, I'm having dinner with the parents after the ceremony (which pair? flip a coin ... haha). Maybe we should get all of the SEGs together for a night at a pub/club some time to celebrate? Just a thought ...

    Ya, that's what I was thinking. But if we want to do it with people from out of town, most likely we'd have to do it that weekend. We can do another one another time for people who wouldn't be able to make it out this weekend.
    I'd suggest Saturday, but I think that I have something then... or maybe not. I'm all so confused...
    Is Saturday good for anyone?
