I'll follow up with more details later, but I just wanted to say that I finished my first
event, and I was in the top 10 for my category (male, age 20-29). It sounds more impressive than it is, but that's not the point. :-P
I can't seem to find any details on the
ncra's website, but when I do, I'll post it.
Update: I have found out
where the results are. ;-)

Top 3 might be appropriate here! Time to edit the post...
ReplyDeleteWait a moment, 167... 9/10... forget my earlier post.
ReplyDeleteDoes the posted link show everyone that was in the race? If so, like Jimmy says, 'Top 10!' doesn't count when you're 9th of 10. Everybody in your division placed in the top 10. Yay everyone! Right? Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool that you actually ran in your first public race though. That's what i'd be most proud of (similar to the uni-parading for me). Congrats on that.
Thanks guys. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhen I first made this post, I thought that there was actually 11 people who had run in the race (and I was #10). But I guess that 11th guy didn't show up 'cause it was raining before the race. Loser.
Too bad the other 9 guys in your category showed up. You could have placed first! Wooohoooo! #1!
