The other night Laura and I were trying to figure out where closest Tim Hortons will be to our new place. This of course is very important information. ;-)
We used Canada 411 to find it. Now this isn't worth a blog entry yet. What the cool thing is when I mapped it was that when you mouse over a place in the map, it gives you the address. I think that this is better than map quest when you have to type in the addess, it reloads, and puts the arrow where it is... I thought that canada 411 maps were much cooler and easier to use. ;-)
That place always screwed up my double-doubles -- not enough sugar. Watch out! :D
ReplyDeleteYeah, last time I went to that one for a french vanilla, it was all watery. But the chocolate croissants are good there. Val and I go there all the time as it's right by her (and soon to be mine) place.
ReplyDeleteFor all my talk, I can't see myself going out to go get coffee all that much. As it is, I hardly ever drink coffee at home. I might go out for some cider, but I'd probably just get that from lablaws and keep it in the apartment. It's a lot easier to go 20 feet to get a drink rather than a 20 minute walk.
ReplyDeleteIf the walk is the objective, that's a different story of course.
But just think about those double-fudge donuts .... c'mon, those are worth the 20 min walk (and will need much more than 20 min to walk off those calories ...)
ReplyDeleteYou have a great biking/rollerblading/walking trail down the east side of the Ottawa River that's pretty close to your place. I rollerbladed it North from Hog's Back a few times and it's nice and smooth, and they are repaving it South as well.
ReplyDeleteNice. I am sure that Laura and I will be checking out the running / biking paths a lot. It'll be nice to go out for 45 minutes and not just see a flat, straight gravel path the whole time.
