I feel like I actually got a lot done today. One thing that I have discovered is that if I don't want to go home and watch crappy tv with my folks, I do have many options. And one of them is getting a lot of work done, well, at work. I just wonder if I really am productive, or just feel that way. We'll see tomorrow.

You only feel productive because you are working at the government. This isn't really a hit at goverment employees, but more at the government itself. I know there's plenty of people who do plenty of work at the government, i know i always did when i worked there. But I also noticed a lot of people who did absolutely nothing. You can't help but feel ultra productive when you see others around you, playing solitaire, or minesweeper
ReplyDeleteI've never seen anyone doing anything like that at IC. And I'm not judging my productivity compared to others, but against what I think that I should have been able to do in the time that I was given.
ReplyDeleteIt's not like if I see someone do nothing, and I do one thing that I think that I am way more productive than them. Not if I think that I could have done 15 things.
